Expertise
Emily Perry is a development and production professional who has worked across acclaimed film and television projects. Her credits include Saving Mr. Banks, Suffragette, Gemma Bovery and The Ones Below in film, and in TV Bridgerton (Netflix), McMafia (BBC One), Coalition (C4), Paula (BBC Two) and many more. She has worked in some of the UK’s leading production companies, giving her a strong understanding of how stories are shaped from early development through to screen.
As a script consultant, Emily brings a constructive, story-led perspective informed by hands-on experience. She understands both the creative and commercial pressures facing writers and producers, and offers thoughtful, precise guidance on character, structure, and script readiness.
Our Services
Treatments are tricky, demanding a clear concept. This service focusses on sharpening your document and how to zero in on your desired broadcaster. Feedback will create an undeniable sales pitch. Price based on a of document 15 pages.
Emily will read your script and provide detailed feedback on the premise, plot, characters, dialogue, pacing, structure, tone and visual language. She will also assess the market viability and be able to answers any questions you may have about process.
Utilising her experience working on films such as Saving Mr Banks, Suffragette,How to Build a Girl and many more, Emily will look at each aspect of your script and provide detailed written feedback on how to push your idea forward.
During a six hour session Emily will workshop ideas with you on your film or TV project. The session will focus on areas that need work. We’ll collate ideas, look at storylines, map out a structure. This can take place in person in London, or virtually.
